How to Create a Pivotal Tracker Gantt Chart
Starting with a new project, select the Pivotal Tracker integration button located under the help menu (temporarily):
You sign into Pivotal through Gantto in two ways: 1) supply your e-mail and password OR 2) supply an API key, which can be found in your Pivotal Tracker Profile and scrolling down to API Token. (Using your e-mail/password combination automatically loads the API token for you.)
After loading your API key, your projects are automatically loaded and added to the list below:
As per before, we won’t store your password anywhere.
Specify which project to load by simply selecting it from the list:
We do the rest, the Gantt Chart is created automatically:
Currently, the tasks appear sequentially, with no constraints attached to them, allowing you to drag and resize them as you see fit. Multiple users in one iteration will be presented as multiple parallel task chains, so collaborative projects can be properly viewed.
